What this policy covers
Viozi is a media app in development for Apple platforms. Available features vary by version. This policy describes data handling for features when they are available and used; it is not a claim that every feature is already released. Viozi does not provide a media catalogue and does not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Files and library data
When you select a file or connect a source, Viozi accesses the file and folder information needed to browse and index it, such as names, paths, identifiers, sizes, timestamps and media metadata. It reads selected media for playback, downloads or caching. Library indexes, artwork, preferences and playback state are stored in the app’s sandbox. Connecting a source does not by itself upload your entire collection to us.
Accounts and connected services
Connections are made to servers and services you choose. They receive the requests and network information needed to fulfil an operation, including your IP address. Account credentials and OAuth tokens are stored using Apple Keychain. They are used to authenticate with the corresponding service, not for advertising. You may revoke an app’s access in that service’s account settings.
Google Drive and other cloud storage
If a build offers a cloud-storage connection and you grant access, Viozi uses file and folder metadata and selected file content to browse, index, stream or cache your media. Any available remote write or deletion operation is initiated by you. Google OAuth credentials are not sent to Viozi AI services. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used by Viozi to train artificial-intelligence models. Viozi’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Apple services and nearby devices
If iCloud or iCloud Keychain synchronization is enabled, eligible settings, source configuration, credentials and library data can synchronize through Apple to your devices. Viozi uses its own iCloud container and app group. Local-network discovery and transfers connect to devices or servers you choose. Apple processes its services under its own privacy terms.
Optional AI features
When you invoke an available remote AI feature, the input needed for it is sent to your configured provider or, where available, a Viozi relay. Depending on the feature and permissions, this can include search text, media titles and metadata, library preferences or selected content. Audio uploads require the separate audio-upload permission. Media-source passwords and OAuth tokens are not AI inputs. Providers have their own processing and retention policies; Viozi does not promise that an external provider retains no data. You can disable remote features in Intelligence settings.
Service security and usage records
Where a Viozi relay is used, installation or account identifiers, Apple app verification data, app and system versions, request time, feature, result, usage and diagnostic information may be processed to authenticate requests, apply quotas, prevent abuse and keep the service reliable. Network security records may contain IP addresses and User-Agent information. These records can be linked to an installation or account. They are not used for cross-app advertising tracking.
Support and diagnostics
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. Diagnostics may include device and app information, errors, source types and filenames. Review them before sending. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue and improve reliability, and keep it only for as long as needed for that purpose or a legal obligation.
Retention, deletion and your choices
You can disconnect sources, revoke provider authorization, disable optional remote or synchronization features, and remove downloaded or cached content in the app where the controls are available. Removing the app removes its local sandbox; Keychain, iCloud data, remote files and third-party records may remain and must be managed through their corresponding controls. For data held by a Viozi service, contact [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. We do not need your password.
